Your First Dentist Appointment

What to Expect at Brite Family Dental...

It can be nerve-wracking when looking for a new dentist, especially if you're unhappy with your current dentist or haven't been in a long time. Knowing what to anticipate might help you feel more at ease during your first session. Seeing a new dentist has proven to be a stressful experience for many patients. You will be able to settle in more quickly if you arrive prepared.

Your initial dental appointment aims to help you feel comfortable and cared for at your new dentist. If your teeth are in poor condition, the dentist will work with you to prescribe dental procedures to improve your oral health and get your healthy smile back. Brite Family Dental is dedicated to providing a high standard of care to all our patients.

The Brite Family Dental Experience:

1. Book an Appointment Online or By Phone

Brite Family Dental has an easy online booking system that is accessible 24/7 for you to book when it convenient for you. Or call us during office hours to book in as a new patient - see our contact details here.

3. We like to make sure you feel comfortable

At the end of the day, a patient visiting a dentist wants to feel at ease in the office. The dentist will make sure you're calm and comfortable in the dental chair. We will ask you all of the initial questions, such as insurance, medical history, and preferences. This is part of our initial welcome to you as a Brite Family Dental patient to develop your dental care plan ongoing. Keeping your teeth in good health.

4. After Your Initial Procedure

After initial procedures, the dentist will do a dental check-up to examine your oral health. They'll look for any issues, including discomfort or sensitivity and evidence of redness or inflammation in the gums. The dentist may inquire about any recent toothaches or other aesthetic problems during the examination. The dentist may also do a scale-and-polish procedure to clean your teeth as part of the assessment.

5. Booking your next Dental Appointment

At this point, your appointment is complete, and the dentist will schedule you for your next check-up. You must follow up with your scheduled appointments, usually every six months. Dentists are the ideal people to ask about the status of your teeth and what you should do next.
